more testing. to everyone who is following me on my animation journey, thank you :aww:

much patience is needed for animation :) a lot of work goes into very subtle details. quirks in posers animation tools amkes it a bit more laborious than it could be. but that's probably true with any tool ;)

same basic catwalk sequence as before.

in this animation i tuned the hip motion to better capture real movement. there is a bit more "pop" in the hips as they lock into position when the weight is shifted. also, her weight shifts backwards and forwards ever so slightly as her weight shifts from leg to leg. very subtle, you'd have to compare it to the previous walk. a couple of different camera angles would also show it off a bit more.

messing with the hips like that, especially given the high heels, requires the feet to be painstakingly tuned.

i also added musculature flexing. there is now a bounce to the breasts :). they're still impossible but then that's why i like cgi, to render the impossible ;)

if i wanted reality i'd attempt photography (something i totally suck at) :)

the calves, thighs, abs and upper arms also flex. and though you can't see it from this angle, the butt flexes enticingly (for those that like such things and you know who you are  )

i switched to future hair since it's much easier to control in simple animations than deja-vu (i love them both but deja-vu has more parts to animate)

i also switched to a bikini to show off the body movement details which are very subtle and would be hidden under too much clothing. The bottom part is a little dynamic piece i made for an "aspen" model. there is a matching top but it has more coverage so i used a bikini top. the nice thing about the dynamic parts is that they pick up the flexing of the bodies muscles and make the animation much easier since the clothing largely animates itself using the cloth simulator.

the compression in the gif messes up the colors a bit. here's a QT movie of it. 20 frames, looping.

A backup of the gif can also be found here.

once i have some better animation sequences, i'll probably retire this all to scraps.

so i have this walk sequence pretty much where i want it. now to do the stop, pose, and turn. should be a challenge. hope i'm up to it...

another thing i'm hoping to try is to import the whole thing into a vue scene. cross fingers on that, my knowledge of vue can fit in a thimble (with room left over for a finger)

Knowledge is simplicity though. Wisdom is the key. An idiot may know everything the universe will tell, but without the wisdom to use this information, he is still an idiot

It's really getting great. I really like the ip and the breast movements... carry on this great work!

Look, your animation is so great and I am just so useless at animation that I need to look at it regularely to remind me how weak I am in rendering animations! LOVE IT!
